edges
photographs need edges because when we take a picture and we focus on something in the middle and the edges make the centre stand out.
edges help define the image , we use edges in a lot of different ways we can use blurred edges curved edges etc.

Looking up and down
the task was to go out around the school and take pictures of edges but looking up and looking so some edges are from shadows and others are from looking up and looking down at the buildings or the floor.

ebi: if I found more things to take pictures of and my photos clearer.

assessment
I chose these pictures because in every picture there is something that stands out for example the picture on the bottom right has the blue egg box and it catches your eye because the camera is just focused on what is in the centre , I chose the picture on the bottom left because the way the chairs are spaced out and cause the chair has tape around I just thought it was different.
I picked the picture on the top right corner because of the writing cause it just gives you an idea of the real world and how the world isn't picture perfect.
I chose the pictures in the middle because of the colour not for any particular reason I just liked the way how the colours looked nice.
I chose the picture in the top left corner because the way all the pictures are close together kind of look like a scrap book and it has a lot of different pictures in that catch the eye , I picked al the pictures individually cause in each picture there was one thing that I liked.

I chose picture number 5 because it had a strange pattern and its different and I like it when things are different.

Jerry read photographer.
Jerry read is an English photographer who says he wants to sustain the interest of he's viewers through he's photos. He focuses mainly on a contrast in the shadows from the light on the paper giving a very two toned effect.
He says he wants to provide learners with enough ideas/imagination to make images that are meaningful to them, he also says that adults flourish most when they have a critic , someone who will tell them wrong from right and how to improve there pictures.
I think the pictures are interesting and a lot different from what other photographers do and you can get a lot of different outcomes and learn a lot from jerry reads way and mindset of doing photography.

edges around the classroom.
I like this picture the most because of the colour and the focus because the picture is mainly focused on the colourful circles , the circles just stand out because of the bright colours and the size and shape.
The whole picture is just eye-catching. what next? Im going to photograph more bright colours and circles. |
